Christ Dismembered is a black metal band hailing from Adelaide, Australia. The band incorporates a gothic aesthetic and has an impressive history of international performances, including tours in Japan and collaborations with renowned metal bands. With a history dating back to around 2012, the band has strong credibility and experience in the scene.

It was years before the two boys at time decided to take their music further than the reaches of the rehearsal dungeon by recording a full length self titled album "Christ Dismembered" off their own backs with the tools and skills at hand.

After the distribution of the album and a small run of merch around the globe the band decided to step it up a notch by recruiting a bass player and a rhythm guitarist.

In the years to follow Christ Dismembered continue to mature and grow and play shows and festivals all around the country such as Adelaide,Melbourne,Sydney,Tasmania, Brisbane,Perth, Alice Springs, beechworth, hometown shows such as Millicent and Mount gambier.

In 2019 Christ Dismembered went on to cross the seas to Japan. Touring with extreme diabolical metal titans Belphegor, TAAKE and Bolzer. Under the banner of soundworks (japan). The band also performed alongside black metal lords Dark Funeral and Death metal legends Immolation. Also under the banner of soundworks direct (Australia).

Around the same time the band performed at an infamous festival in the north reaches of the Australian desert, BLACKEN festival held by (blackwreath) with an array of headline and co-headline shows.

Christ Dismembered have since performed and shared the stage with bands such as Angel Corpse, UADA, Kirisiun, Nervo Chaos, Grave Miazma and many more..

In the fall of 2019 for the first time the band went on to book a complete self headline European tour under leniyr bookings. The Covid 19 pandemic of course put a halt to this and reaped its devastating impacts on the world.

This had very negative impacts on the band with the loss of morale, drive, the progression of the band and as a result of all this band members departed creating uncertainty in the future of the band.

Alas this was not the end...

All but remaining and founding member Henry "drums" once again refused to give up.

Then recruited a whole new complete line up with very reputable and respected musicians in the Australian scene including Jynxx leard (ARCHWORM) Paul Hodgson (DOOMSAYER) Steve Lillywhite (SKORPA)
